How do we do this?• All students work in the office during the summer

(Local Summer Service funding)• Staff retreat before each semester to discuss big ideas

(and do something fun!)• Each intern went through CLA process to discuss

professional development opportunities• Weekly staff meeting

– Visible agenda• Working on training for students

– Next summer will read parts of Barbara Jacoby’s Service Learning Essentials

● Use the Bonner Network: don’t recreate the wheel

● Assess student interest and potential as well as preferred leadership method.

● Use other campus resources and offices.
