THE AUSRAIL CONFERENCE & EXHIBITION SERIES
A BRIEF OUTLINE OF AUSRAIL EVENTS:
AusRAIL has firmly established itself as THE major Australasian rail sector’s event annually (since 2003). With the continued support of the major Australasian rail associations including: ARA, RTAA, IRSE and RTSA, the event continues to grow exponentially biennially to suit the needs of the participants. Last year in Melbourne was the largest AusRAIL PLUS exhibition to-date. With around 450+ exhibiting companies participating. Now we are looking forward to our more compact, high-intensity exhibition and 2-day conference, AusRAIL 2016.
The AusRAIL 2016 2-Day conference will be themed around “Rail - Moving the Economy Forward”. A very well timed theme!
SOCIAL NETWORKING FUNCTIONS:
Welcome Reception and Pre-Event Registration is designed to reduce the long delegate queues on the first morning of the event. This function is run on the afternoon of the 21st November.
The Official Exhibition Networking Drinks will again run within the exhibition halls to add additional benefit to the exhibitors’ investment and delegates networking opportunities by bringing the highly qualified conference delegates and speakers into the exhibition to meet and network with each other as well as exhibition stand staff – This function commences after the conference on day one (Tuesday 22nd).
The RTAA Yellow Tie Dinner, including the collectable and quirky yellow tie or scarf entry gift, is an informal networking dinner which is only run on “PLUS” years. This dinner historically attracts between 800 - 1200 guests (depending on venue capacity). Brisbane 2017 is expected to sell out!
The AusRAIL Gala Dinner is the formal Black Tie event run on the final evening of the event – 23rd and attracts high level, cream of the cream end-users and owner / operators as well as senior executives from small to major suppliers and rounds off the event beautifully, with style, a 4-course meal and light entertainment.
Two delegate Networking Luncheons and four delegate Networking Refreshment Breaks – All held within the main exhibition hall for maximum exposure and networking opportunities
AusRAIL is attended by all sectors of the rail industry, especially senior and middle rail industry executives, key politicians, senior government officials, major national and international suppliers and the mainstream media.
The reason AusRAIL conferences attract such large numbers of high level ‘influencers’ is due to the extensive international and local reach of Informa (the Organiser), the high level of networking opportunities under the ‘one roof’ and the focussed, topical programming and exceptional speaker faculties (conference); especially the CEO forum supported by the vast majority of the rail and transport sector’s CEO’s!
