Zumba is a Latin-inspired dance fitness program where dance and fitness is combined to the beat of Latin/international music and a few popular radio hits. INTRO TO PHOTOGRAPHY Hannah Ziegeler from HZ Photography will walk you through getting started with your DSLR camera (Digital Single Lens Reflex). In the three-class series, you can get experience shooting both the beauty of Tulip Time and the expressions of people through portrait session advice. DROP IN PICKLEBALL Stay active this winter with Park Township’s new, non-competitive pickleball group. This racquet sport combines bad-minton, ping pong, and tennis. You don’t need a partner in order to sign up. All equipment will be provided for begin-ners, as local pickleball players are always looking to introduce the game to someone new. Sign-up to play 3 sessions ($10), 6 sessions ($16) or 12 sessions ($24). Once registered, you will receive a punch card. DANCE CLASSES AT TURNING POINTE SCHOOL OF DANCE

Ballet: No experience needed. This class is an excellent

introduction to quality Classical Ballet training in a friendly, fun setting. Turning Pointe’s carefully construct-ed curriculum and devoted teachers provide a positive first experience with the basics of ballet. Turning Pointe has been training young dancers for 20 years and has graduates who are professional ballet dancers. Dancers wear any color ballet leotard, tights, ballet shoes or socks, hair in a bun. There is a parent observation the last 10 minutes of the last class.

Hip Hop: This class is an excellent introduction to the

popular Hip Hop dance style with family-friendly music and clean choreography. MUSIC IN ME: HOLIDAY MUSIC! In this class children

and caregivers explore music of the holiday season with in-struments, movement, and songs. The effects of early expo-sure to music are profound, and positively impact children’s cognitive, social and emotional development. We’ll sing, dance, and play instruments while enjoying the music of the season! This class is taught in partnership with the Holland Symphony Orchestra. Location: Holland Midtown Center, Room 106

MUSIC IN ME: Sing Through the Day Join us with your little ones this fall, and we'll sing songs that make everyday activities fun! Children will delight in their world when we put it to music, playing songs about brushing teeth, getting into the car seat, sharing with friends, and more! In this class, children ages 6 months-4 years and caregivers explore the universal lan-guage of music with instruments, movement, and songs. Early ex-posure to music in this playful environment positively impacts chil-dren's cognitive, social and emotional development. We use im-portant classical melodies, folk songs, and original music. Children observe, sing, dance, and play along in this nurturing environment, absorbing musical concepts that lay important groundwork for development of the whole child as well as future mu-sic study. A BRITISH ART EXCURSION THROUGH CHILDREN’S CLASSICS Calling all young anglophiles, Harry Potter fans, Alice in Wonder-land enthusiasts, and Peter Pan dreamers! During this class we will explore the styles and works of classic British children's illus-trators and authors like Beatrix Potter, Roald Dahl, J.R.R. Tolkien, and E.H. Shepard. Combining literature, illustration, a variety of art media, and a whole lot of imagination, we will create pro-jects inspired by some of the greatest children's stories ever written. Participants will grow in their art skills as they paint, col-

INTRODUCTION TO WATERCOLOR PAINTING TECHNIQUES This course will serve as an introduction to various techniques of both ink and watercolor painting. The course will start with an overview of Sumi-e painting, a form of Japanese monochromatic ink painting. This technique helps to learn brush and water control with ink which is important to learn before moving to color. Next the course with go over basic color theory and different techniques that can be used in watercolor painting. Some of the larger projects we will do is the sumi-e painting, a botanical flower painting, and a still life. Instructor: Sarah Sanders. CO-ED MIDDLE SCHOOL WATER POLO

Come play Water Polo this Spring! All 5th-8th graders invited. Participants should bring a swimsuit, goggles, towel and a lock to secure their belongings in the locker rooms. Players are responsible for their own transportation to and from both practices & tournaments. This season will run from March though May. Practice and tournament times TBA. Little Kickers (Co-ed) Introductory soccer experience designed to intro-duce basic soccer skills and game knowledge in a fun and non-competitive environment. ½ hour of age appropriate instruction and ½ hour of games will be completed on the same night. Games are 3 on 3 with no goalies and parent coaches act as referees. SESSION 1

Kinder Kickers (Co-ed) Soccer is taught in such a way that children will develop a love for the game and have fun. The program is instructional. The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office and Tulip City Rod and Gun

Club will be offering the Michigan DNR Hunter Safety course. This

course involves classroom instruction as well as hands on training

with live fire. Students under 12 yrs. old must be accompanied by

a parent or guardian. Students who successfully complete the

course will receive their safety certificate. Students may bring

food/drink to class.

Home Study Course: This course is a home study course with 1

day of classroom instruction. Students will return on the Range/Field Day to complete the

course. Packets MUST be picked up at the Park Township Office prior to March 1, 2019. Stu-

dents will be required to complete the chapter review questions prior to the classroom por-

tion.
