UPDATED COVID-19 GUIDANCE FROM THE DIOCESE:
The Diocese of Wilmington has
discontinued all previous COVID-19
guidance except for the following:
➢ Distribution of the Precious Blood continues to be prohibited.
➢ Hand sanitizer is still available at the entrance, and we support a welcoming environment for those members of your parishes who wish to wear masks.
➢ We continue to have sanitization readily available if an individual distributing communion believes they made contact with the person’s mouth or saliva.
For those who still prefer socially distanced seating, we have devoted a section of pews at Mass
on the right side of church, in front of the piano, that has every other pew roped off.

MINISTRY OF CARING VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: A small group of SMM Parishioners have been preparing & serving meals at Emmanuel Dining Room East in Wilmington on the 27th of each month. We need a few new volunteers to help us with this outreach effort. You don’t need to commit to help every month and we don’t provide meals if the 27th falls on a weekend. If you are able to help and/or have additional questions, please call Laury and Ed Kusner at 302-655-4575.

banquet and grant them eternal life.

Dear Friends,
With an abundance of gratitude, I write to thank you for your support of the 2022 Faith and Charity Catholic Appeal. Your willingness to share and your commitment to serve others enables the diocese to do the work of Our Lord by providing the necessities of life to those in material need, peace, and comfort to those in spiritual distress, religious instruction to eager minds and guidance for struggling families and individuals.
On behalf of all those who will benefit from your generosity, I extend to you my gratitude in prayer and ask God’s blessing on you and those you love.
Walking By Faith, we bring the face of God to those in need.
Sincerely in Christ, Father Kirk

As someone who has been there, I encourage you to support your friend in her new journey of being a mother… Your support might be the only support she receives. Even if we never know how, the smallest things we do can change someone’s life. You can make a difference in her life. Will you?’ Learn ten tips at respectlife.org/support-her.
