The wedding was widely broadcast on television, internet, and radio. It was estimated that the
coverage would be watched by two billion people worldwide. ITV, BBC, and CNN covered the
ceremony and associated events live through the combined pool of footage from the BBC, Sky, and
ITN to help cover the overall cost.
BROADCASTING COSTS
• Reliability – broadcasting issues in remote places, spam• Privacy – the public people may not want to be shown on
television viewed by billions of people• Integrity – the information broadcasted may be tampered with
and not 100% accurate• Security – the security of the event would have been controlled
