Biography

Roberto Paganoni (Dutch/Italian) is a Managing Partner and CEO at LGT Capital Partners Ltd.

Mr. Paganoni joined LGT Group in 1997 to form the Alternative Investments Group, which is

now LGT Capital Partners Ltd. Prior to joining LGT Group, Mr. Paganoni worked at McKinsey

& Company since 1989, where he managed international projects in the areas of industrial

goods, airlines, telecommunications and financial services. Mr. Paganoni has been based in

Zurich since 1993. He completed his mechanical engineering studies at the Technical University

of Aachen, Germany and received a PhD in Business Administration from the University of

St. Gallen (HSG), where he also lectures on a part-time basis.

Mr. Paganoni is a Board member of the Swiss Venture Capital Association (SECA) and serves

on the advisory board of a number of private equity partnerships. He is fluent in English,

German, Dutch, Italian and French.
