The Lender acquired the hotel via Deed-In-Lieu (DIL).

De-flagged from Marriott and Wyndham brands. Later converted to Sheraton brand.

The hotel closed operations in 2014.

Worked with lender and borrower to negotiate DIL and restructure capital stack to fund renovations

Collaborated with Starwood brand and Crescent management to complete Phase I and Phase II of the renovations

Oversaw construction, re-opening in November 2016, and ramp up of hotel operations

Re-inspired and created new and distinctive F&B outlets along with unique programming to reposition the hotel

1st Sheraton-branded resort to open in the past 8 years. Ranked #11 among 27 Sheraton-branded resorts worldwide.

Sheraton Bay Point Resort entered the Panama City Beach hotel market ranked #48 on TripAdvisor. Climbed to #3 on TripAdvisor in six months.

Awarded the prestigious Four Diamond rating by AAA Travel Association.

Conde Nast Traveler 2017 Readers’ Choice Award nominee.
