FPA - Franzina Partners Architecture

• founded in 1991, is a unique multifunctional team of 40 people: architects, engineers, designers and managers

• manages the development and execution of architectural design, civil engineering, landscape architecture, interior and industrial design

• deals with the design of building of different and mixed functions, with particular attention to the residential and hospitality sectors

• offers the best Italian style products, services and new business formats.

COMPANY PROFILEArchitectural Division

Our rm core business is the architectural design: all stages of design are developed, from concept to detailed, through sketch and preliminary.New and original solutions, new materials and technologies are tested every time in order to obtain the best solution.

Our goal is to integrate structure and system design, as well as lighting and interior design, in the architectural project.

Our research aims to a new idea of space: “osmotic” architecture looks for permeable and uid spaces, characterized by a continuum of relationships between the construction and the surrounding environment. The building skin is designed to be as permeable as possible, merging the iindoor and the outdoor. This idea of architecture overtakes the traditional distinction of spaces de ned by contrasts such as open vs. closed, covered vs. uncovered, internal vs. external.

Our philosophy can be summarized in three points:1. experimentation: every project is unique, it brings the opportunity to test new solutions and each one is prototypical and never standardized;2. practicability: all solutions are actually buildable, since the very rst concept the project is designed to be built it is thought of as a construction site;3. continue reprocessing: the planning proposals as well as constructive details are inserted in a process of constant re-thinking and adaptation, in order to determine the best solution.

FPA - Structural Engineering Division

is responsible for engineering design, and coordinating geotechnical programs.Members with experience develop geotechnical and structural issues, particularly with regard to engineering problems of soil-structure interaction.They pay attention to new systems ant technologies as well as best materials and processes in order to guarantee safety and longevity of structures.

FPA - M.E.P. Engineering Division

is responsible for the Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing area.Members with experience develop engineering design, supplying, installation and maintenance of industrial and technological plants.The design involves also all the other engineering elds such as electronics, interior and exterior lighting, HVC, telecommunication, IT and data transmission, security and safety, re prevention systems.All design stages are developed, from preliminary to detailed and site management.

is responsible for the outdoor design.Members with experience develop the design of outdoor public and private are-as and structures to achieve environmen-tal, social-behavioral, or aesthetic outco-mes.The project involves urban design, site planning, environmental restoration, par-ks, residential estate.A careful and coordinated project of gre-en and paving areas, lighting and signa-ge is the basis of our work.Landscape division works to make spaces more livable and integrated with the sur-rounding areas and buildings.Fundamental is to highlight the link betwe-en green spaces, mankind and architec-ture. Landscape Division projects are the result of over a decade of crosscutting profes-sional experience which reinforced, con-solidated and improved the existing ba-lance.
