Biography

Jennifer de Guzman is a writer and editor living in the San Francisco Bay Area. She writes “Life in Comics,” a regular column for Publishers Weekly, as well as “Heaven Knows I’m Miserable Now,” a comic strip for Comic Book Resources’ blog Robot 6. In addition, she has had short comics stories published in the Image Comics anthologies Put the Book Back on the Shelf and This Is a Souvenir. She worked for the comics publisher SLG Publishing for nine years, seven of them as editor in chief. Jennifer received her MFA in Creative Writing from San Jose State University in �008.
