 Q.  How  can  I  prevent  congealable  grease  entering  the  drainage  system?  A.  Fitting  grease  trap  separators  in  combination  with  upstream  straining  devices  retains  fat,  oil  &  grease  and  complies  with  Building  Reg.  (NI)  Pt.J      Q.  How  often  should  I  empty  strainers  and  separators?  A.  European  Regulatory  Standard  EN1825 states  Strainers  should  be  emptied  regularly  (daily)  and  Grease  Traps  must  be  emptied  once  per  month.
