Creativity
in our gymnasium
• The basis for development is creativity and initiative.
• We consider the development of students‘ modern
skills and well-being to be a personal course of action.
• We follow the motto "Docendo discimus" (Latin "by
teaching, we learn") and integrate individual strategy of
development into the work of the gymnasium as an
organization.

Creativity
in our gymnasium
Students creativity skills are formed in different
surroundings: in the classes, during extra-
curricula activities and at home. Thus, the
surrounding environment greatly contributes
to students’ development.

Class activities • During maths and science classes students are
encouraged to use both logical and lateral thinking.
Finding different solutions to a certain problem helps
them to apply their knowledge to solving more
complicated tasks.
• During the language classes, both native and foreign,
students are asked to express their opinions on
different topics orally and in written forms. As well as
that they participate in a variety of reciting contests,
essay, story, poem writing contests, debates, project
work.

Class activities • In the technology classes students are taught to design
and sew clothes, experiment in cooking, design and make
useful things from wood and metal, etc.
• Art classes stimulate students to convey their vision of the
world through the diversity of artistic styles: painting,
ceramics, collage, installations.
• Music classes offer students to develop their singing,
music composing and playing a musical instrument skills.
• Drama is the subject which helps students to model
different life situations and find the right way how to act on
complicated occasions.
