me The PhD programme offered by
the Department requires an original doctoral thesis that should result in a significant contribution to the state-of-art in that field.
The aim of this programme is to keep pace with the expanding frontiers of knowledge and provide research training relevant to the present technological, social, economic and moral objectives of the country. The average duration of the programme is about 3-5 years.

The Centre is involved with a number of Chemical Science & Technology activities in the areas of research, industrial collaboration, the development of educational and promotional materials and networking both with academia and industry.
Comprising 6 faculty members,200 M Sc students, 01 PhD student ,1 woman research fellow (DST) and technical staff.
Multi-disciplinary covering every aspect of chemistry together with its interfaces with physics, material science and biology.
Its faculty members have strong links with industry through collaborations and the creation of start-ups.
PhD students and post-docs come from all over the India to benefit from this expertise at the frontiers of Chemistry.

programme, committees and other internal administrative activities.
