Dr. Jekyll was a good doctor.

He lived in London.

In his house he had a lab where he made new medicines.

.

But there was one medicine he made that was just for him.

Dr. Jekyll wanted to split his good side from his evil side.

He got into fights.

One night Dr. Jekyll mixed together a red liquid with a white powder and

made his magic medicine.

Dr. Jekyll drank it down.

He felt sick!

When he looked in the mirror, he saw that he had changed into a different man – a scary man.

He was smaller and younger.

His eyes were mean. His hair was longer.

His nose was flat.

His teeth were crooked.

This was Dr. Jekyll’s bad side and he named him, Mr. Hyde.

When the bad Mr. Hyde drank the magic medicine…..

… he turned back into the good Dr. Jekyll.

When Dr. Jekyll drank the magic drug, he turned into the bad Mr. Hyde.

Then he did bad things.

He hurt a little girl.

He killed a kind man.

Then the bad Mr. Hyde drank the magic medicine…..

… he turned back into the good Dr. Jekyll.

Mr. Hyde got meaner and meaner.

At last Dr. Jekyll was going to have no more of the white powder he needed to make the magic drug.

Dr. Jekyll made one last medicine so he would never turn into Mr. Hyde again.

THE END
