Switchgear Conversion

The Caterpillar family of control panels providesbasic to complete generator set monitoring.Control panels use a standard mounting andwire harness and are easily upgraded to thenext higher specification. The ElectronicModular Control Panels (EMCP II, EMCP II+,and EMCP II+P) are compatible with a completeline of local or remote annunciators, and withremote communication and expansion modules.

PANEL DESCRIPTIONELECTROMECHANICAL

This manual or auto start/stop electromechanicalpanel, equipped with analog gauges, providesbasic generator set metering, engine monitoringand protection, indicator lights, and emergencystop shutdown. Optional protective and controldevices are available.

EMCP II, II+, AND II+P

The EMCP II, II+ and II+P, equipped with high-techelectronics and digital LCD readouts, providethe most complete generator set monitoring,metering, control, and indication. A full rangeof optional protective devices, controls, andlocal and remote annunciators are available.The EMCP II, II+ or II+P may be used for remotegenerator set monitoring and control via a directconnection or modem. The EMCP II, II+ andII+P use environmentally sealed, solid state,microprocessor-based modules.

SWITCHGEAR CONVERSION

The switchgear conversion (SGC) panel providesbasic engine monitoring, protection, and control.It is equipped with a digital LCD display, electronicgauges, and indicator lights. The panel isdesigned to interface with switchgear or remotemounted controls. Optional protection andcontrol devices are available.
