Examination Automation Manual.

Institute has Examination Automation software ,most of Exam processes are automated.

Exam automation has following steps

1. Exam Prerequisites

Exam automation software depends on subject master and student registration entry.

These are prerequisite work for exam automation software.

2. Exam setting at beginning of semester

At the beginning of every semester exam master entries are done, during this examiner

and paper setters are appointed for entire semester.

3. Pre Exam work

this defines exam schedule preparation, exam seating arrangement, room details, junior

supervisor allocation etc.

4. Pre Exam report

various types of reports like student attendan for exam, junior supervisor reports etc are

generated.

5. Result processing

Various types of mark entry(continuous assessment and final exam) and subject grading

is done.

6. Result declaration

SPI CPI is calculated and result is declared through, mail, sms, student portal.

Step1.Exam prerequisites

Exam automation need subject details and student registration

A) Subject Master Creation: This form is used to enter Subject Template for Academic

Year for every programme, branch, year, module. In this subject, subject code, credit,

subject type, subject category, BOS. This data is given by respective BOS and entered

by student section.

B) Subject Registration: Students register for their course subjects through this in each

semester.

Step2. Exam setting at beginning of any semester

A)Exam settings and Schedules Creation: Examination settings are done as per Exam. Policy.

B) Paper setter appointment : Appointment of Paper setter for each subject is done.

C).Various types of appointments for Exam like Examiner appointment, junior supervisor ,

senior supervisor etc

D).Exam master preparation: This is used to define type of Exam i.e. mark/grade for every

subject.

A) Exam seating arrangements : It shows personalized Time Table of each student

on all Exam.days.
