In her younger yearsshe worked for the Rich-mondTelephone Companyand also at J.J. Newberry,but was most content as ahomemaker and caretakerfor her family and agingparents.Shewasamember

Louise was married tothe late Ray Witt and wasborninEstillCountyonNo-vember3,1912,tothelateLouisa and David Wagers.Shehadason,DonaldRayWitt(deceased)anddaugh-ter,NancyWittSewell.Sheresided with her daughterNancyandson-in-lawJohninLittleton,Coloradosince2005. Louise was the oldestliving member of the FirstUnited Methodist Church.She retired from the Belkstore in Winchester whereshe enjoyed helping hercustomers and enjoyinggreat conversation. LouisewasanavidUKbasketballfanandlovedtowatchhergreat grandchildren playsoccer and baseball. Shewasveryactive,travelingtoCooperstown,NY,lastsum-merandPhoenix,AZ,dur-ing the Christmas holidaysto root them on in tourna-ments.Everyonefondlyre-ferredtoherasGrannyWittasshecapturedyouwithherkeensenseofhumorandin-fectioussmile.GrannyWittwas loved by many andgave us all extraordinaryloveandinfinitememories.
