LOCATIONKing Street, within the centre, is the main vehicle thoroughfare for Castle Douglas town centre, and indeed is also the main retailing area for the town. This road route forms part of the A713 and links with the A75 trunk road to both the west and east. This remains a busy vehicular traffic route.
