The circuitry at the iC-PVL VBAT pin is designed for use with a supercapacitor only. To avoid batterydamage R6 and D3 must not be installed should the supercapacitor CBATT be replaced by a battery.Always use the appropriate manufacturer recommended battery protection circuitry when installing abattery. Failure to do so may result in dangerous battery damage.
