Unfired Flexi Clay Cladding&Flooring is made from MCM modified clay
materials. The most attractive are their functional properties, principally, that
of breathability and known abilities to regulate relative humidity (RH). Next to
air tightness and embodied energy, breathability is possibly the most critical
consideration in building design.
Unfired Clay can absorb and desorbs indoor humidity faster than any other
building material.
General Speaking, Clay can regulate relative interior humidity between
40% and 70%. (Arundel, A. V. 1986) By keeping RH between 40% and 70%
research has shown that the likelihood for airborne infectious bacteria and virus
to survive is the lowest.
New industrial raw material
MCM Flexiclay products are modified soil made through a technology breakthrough with the base materials being constituted and bonded together by using only low heat temperature in its manufacturing process. Even by adoptingsuch low-heat temperature process, MCM Flexiclay’s products are versatile having both highly malleable range of products.
MCM Flexiclay comes in different forms; from roll form, individual piece, board form or panel form using the mould and press system or roll casting system. The natural characteristic of the soil gives the benefits of fire retardant, breath-ability, non-toxin, durability and recyclability.
MCM Flexiclay was launched in 2008 and currently has various ranges of products for interior cladding, exterior cladding, flooring and ceiling applications as well as furniture laminate. This product is versatile and can be made and applied to other applications aside from the above usage.
Indeed,the product can be applied on any existing surface e.g Tiles, Wood, Metal sheet, Glass etc. The product can also be used as a substitute against traditional method of road making using stone aggregates and asphalt or concrete. It can also be used for track and field as well as flooring for gyms. Hence the products are design friendly, comes in different forms, shapes, sizes and applicable to automobile upholstery. The market opportunities within these broad market segments are immense and rewarding.

Product Description Application Tips
Travertine is rare and expensive, MCM traver-tine duplicates full natural travertine. MCM travertine applies to exterior wall, interior wall, flooring and all kinds of commercial space, public, office, entertainment spaces, family background wall, bathroom etc.
1. Paste: Just similar to the natural stone there are some holes through it, Suggest the use of same color adhesive to paste it to match the MCM Travertine color.2. Grout: We suggest you do grouting. Do it by using same color grout or any choice color. Stainless steel strip or silicon glue gun can also be applied.3. Clean Protection: When using on the floor, you need to brush stone sealer 3-4 times after pasting products. If pasting indoor, for brightening purpose, suggest you brush stone sealer 2-3 times for installation.4. The base should be smooth. You need to use V-tooth trowel to paste adhesive on the back of product to create V pattern. Do not paste the adhesive with flat pattern on the product.

Product Description Application TipsMCM Sandstone design is based on Australian sandstone with elegant color sense. It applies to entertainment places background wall, commercial space, bathroom wall, ceiling and exterior wall/interior wall and flooring.
The base should be smooth and flat. Use V-tooth trowel to paste the adhesive with flat pattern on the back of the product to create V pattern. Use slab rubber to hit the product. Pressing with finger is not allowed, since it will cause the product surface to be uneven. Suggest doing the grouting with the same color grout, choice color grout or silicon glue. Or leave 2mm natural gap for “gong” style installation.

MCM Crossard Mushroom Stone looks thick and heavy, but it is light, balanced, and bears strong impact.
Suggest grouting. Paste adhesive around the edge and all over the backside. Each edge at the front should have stainless steel cement nail. Suggest doing the grouting with the same color grout or choice color.
