He also directs creation for Cacharel, Nina Ricci, Holland & Holland and Ungaro.A conceptor as much as a designer, a storytelling art director, José Lévy’sinfluence spreads from fashion to stage, photography, store concepts andfurniture design, in order to shed a kaleidoscopic light onto his projects.His encounter with the Manufacture de Sèvres projects him into the worldof decorative arts. From porcelain to crystal, from furniture to rugs and objects,José Levy successfully collaborates with the greatest editors: CristalleriesSaint Louis, Roche Bobois, Astier de Villatte, Déshoulières. Japanese Abstractions est une collection de neuf pièces, toutes pensées et dessinées autour de l’idée d’un voyage imaginaire que la dadaïste et artiste féministe Sophie Taeuber Arp aurait pu faire au Japon. Chaque tapis présente une combinaison de formes géomé-triques et de motifs traditionnels japonais, fruit de cette rencontre fantasmée entre pure abstraction et influences culturelles, entre l’Occident et l’Orient.

La capitale Sud-Coréenne est connue pour les vingt-cinq pontsiconiques qui enjambent l’imposant fleuve Hangang. La collectionest née de cette idée, de la vue que l’on pourrait avoir en regardantSéoul depuis le ciel, de l’image alors créée par ce fleuve gigantesquetraversant et découpant la ville, par son cours interrompu et rythmépar une multitude de ponts et passerelles connectant les rives etleurs habitants. L’interprétation d’une cartographie imaginaire oùles territoires sont symbolisés par différentes couleurs, matériauxet épaisseurs, à l’image des fines lignes de soie auxquelles sejuxtaposent de larges aplats de couleur en laine.

Thomas DarielArrière-petit-fils d’un créateur de mobilier français, petit-fils d’un musicien dejazz et fils d’architecte, Thomas Dariel puise sa force et son inspiration dans sonhistoire familiale.

Reconnu pour son style créatif très personnel, sa détermination à repousser leslimites et à créer la surprise, Thomas Dariel a fondé en 2006, à Shanghai, sonagence d’architecture d’intérieur, Dariel Studio.

Il a depuis gagné respect et reconnaissance du monde du design et de ses pairs.Il a reçu plusieurs récompenses, dont la nomination pour le Meilleur DesignerInternational aux Andrew Martin Awards en 2012, l’élection parmi les 100talents en Asie en architecture et design par le Magazine AD en 2013 et 2015,parmi les 40 meilleurs jeunes Designers de moins de 40 ans par Perspective 40Under 40, parmi les 10 meilleurs Designers en Chine par le Magazine Vantageen 2016. En 2017, Dariel a été élu meilleur talent de l'année par EDIDA AwardsChine ainsi que Meilleur Designer par les magasines Trends et Trendshome.

Thomas s’imprègne d’univers aussi variés que ceux du design, de la mode, de lagastronomie, des arts visuels et du luxe pour trouver son inspiration. Sacréativité est guidée par sa volonté de briser les clichés et les codes traditionnelset de créer, pour chaque projet, un nouveau langage. En confrontant la traditionet l’innovation, en associant l’histoire du design français et les influencesculturelles de l’Orient, Thomas ouvre de nouvelles perspectives créatives.

Born in Paris, José Lévy enters the world of design through the fashion door.First with his eponymous label José Lévy à Paris, he establishes himself bothas an outstanding colorist and as a tailor working with the utmost precision.His style, characterized by a chic that is altogether casual, uncompromisingand irreverent, wins him immediate success and visibility with an internationalaudience. He also directs creation for Cacharel, Nina Ricci, Holland & Holland and Ungaro.A conceptor as much as a designer, a storytelling art director, José Lévy’sinfluence spreads from fashion to stage, photography, store concepts andfurniture design, in order to shed a kaleidoscopic light onto his projects.His encounter with the Manufacture de Sèvres projects him into the worldof decorative arts. From porcelain to crystal, from furniture to rugs and objects,José Levy successfully collaborates with the greatest editors: CristalleriesSaint Louis, Roche Bobois, Astier de Villatte, Déshoulières. In parallel, healso starts working on scenography projects, like the recent Villa Kujoyamaand Petit Palais collaborations. Collaborationavec

Arik LevyArtist, technician, photographer, designer, video artist, Levy's skills are mul-tidisciplinary and his work can be seen in prestigious galleries and museumsworldwide. Best known publicly for his sculptures – such as his signature Rockpieces –, his installations, limited editions and design, Levy nevertheless feels“The world is about people, not objects.”

Hailing originally from Israel and moving to Europe after his first participationin a group sculpture exhibition in Tel-Aviv in 1986, Levy currently works in hisstudio in Paris.

His formation was unconventional where surfing, as well as his art and graphicdesign studio, took up much of his time back home. Following studies at theArt center Europe in Switzerland he gained a distinction in Industrial Designin 1991.

After a stint of four months in Japan where he consolidated his ideas producingproducts and pieces for exhibitions, Levy then returned to Europe where hecontributed his artistry to other fields like contemporary dance and opera byway of stage installation, lighting, video and more.

The creation of his studio then meant a foray back to his first love, art anddesign, where design was a vehicle of science, technology and materials that canbe seen in Levy’s artworks as well as other branches of his talents.

Considering himself now more of a "feeling" artist, Arik Levy continues tocontribute substantially to our interior and exterior milieu, his work includingpublic sculpture, as well as complete environments that can be adapted formulti use. "Life is a system of signs and symbols," he says, “where nothing isquite as it seems."
