• Safety helmet• Compass/clinometer• Bottle of dilute Hydrochloric Acid• Metre rule• Tape measure• Appropriate resource sheets

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING• Normal pencils and coloured pencils• Pencil sharpener• Eraser• A clear plastic bag to cover the

clipboard in the event of rain• Camera if available (preferably digital)• Rucksack• Clothing to suit the weather• Suitable footwear - walking boots are

ideal, though trainers will often suffice• Packed lunch and a drink
