1. Sponges

Sponges

• Sponges pump water through the hole at the top and filter tiny (microscopic) particles of food that are floating in the water

• Soft-bodied animals that are often protected by an outer shell

e.g. Snails, Oysters, Clams, Squid and Octopus

6. Annelids
