IPEDS Submission ProcessInstitution identifies a “keyholder”• The keyholder is responsible for entering data

Institutional Characteristic (IC) Changes
Add Item to collect whether institutions are completely distance educationAdd item to collection institution’s URL for their Net Price Calculator; URL will be posted on College Navigator
Completions (C) ChangesClarify instructions; only credit awards are to be reported• Kansas Clarification – all Records in PI should

12-month Enrollment (EF-12) Updates
Eliminate the choice of reporting periods• All institutions will report for July 1 – June 30
If course registration crosses both reporting years, report enrollments in both years
KBOR alignment• KBOR currently only basis things on the
reporting year course starts. Will review to see if future implications need to be addressed
Human Resources (HR) Updates
Fall Staff: Eliminate the 9 salary class interval screens• All Part H and all but last screen in Part I
Salaries: Eliminate the 2 fringe benefit screens• All Part F
Graduation Rates (GRS) and 200% Graduation Rates (GRS200) Updates
Add column to collect the number of students who are still enrolled
Student Financial Aid (SFA) Updates
Move to Winder collection; extend Winter by 2 weeksFor Group 4, add column to Part E to collect # of students receiving any Title IV grant aid, by income categoriesClarify instructions: reports “aid awarded,” rather than aid received or aid awarded and accepted
