Georges Seurat• 2 December 1859 - 1891• Seurat was a Pointillist. • Pointillism was new

method of painting using dots instead of brush strokes to create the picture.

• He felt that this technique would make the colours more brilliant and powerful than those created with brush strokes.

2. Use ear buds or paintbrushes to fill in your landscape with lots of pointillist dots.

3. Make sure to use contrasting colours.
