Indiana Reading Evaluation And Determination (IREAD) Assessment
IREAD-3 , based on Indiana Academic Standards, is a summative
assessment that measures foundational reading standards through
grade three. IREAD-3 Overview All questions are multiple choice and
will be taken inpaper/pencil format. Word Analysis: Beginning,
Middle, and Ending Sounds Word Analysis: Synonyms, Antonyms,
andHomographs Word Analysis: Prefixes and Suffixes Word Analysis:
Context Clues Vocabulary and Reading Comprehension Sample Item:
Standard 1 Word Analysis: Beginning Sounds 1.) Look at the words
for Number 1. Find the word that has the same beginning sounds as
grassgrass. Fill in the circle that goes with the answer you
