I hate ghetto issues and issues they got
I tell all the ratchets
To give it up to God
I shouldn’t say ratchet
But ratchet I say
Let’s let it be known
How females act today
Let’s be classy and let’s go to school
Pray to God and get your tools
Be a better person and look
Past the dudes
Let’s play them like the Wii
They hold the key
We hold the box
with the precious treasure
But it must stay locked
Ghetto issues
Page 7
Why so mean?
In God we trust
That’s unseen
Peep in the devil’s door and he might let you in
Rappers we love, singers we thought,
Come from up above
Why so blind to the scene?
So I know you wouldn't be able to handle the unseen
Yeah, unseen souls surrounding you hear
The got in because you was brain dead
So they made you rich and, dang, you got the fame
I’d rather be poor then sell my soul for the game
And a little piece of change
It just ain’t me, just not what I see
I see the bigger picture
So, I’m like,
Peace!
Peace
Page 8
Devil secrets and untold stories frightened by
the truth so we ignore it Pray to Jesus saying keep us safe
But then you deny Jesus in your friend’s face God’s child you claim his word
You supposedly proclaim But get out in the streets you’re not the same
Like putting a picture in a frame Changing the picture when you go to church
But when you leave you’re the worst God has blessed you so much he sent his only begotten son
And this is how you thank him You’re time will come
Lost Is your soul Found is the goal Keep denying Jesus and you won’t find a home
Jesus has a palace with many rooms I hope I get one and I hope you too find Jesus
and he will be the guide for you This Earth is doomed
put your faith in God, he’s coming soon Faith without works is dead
so I’ma spread the word and break bread Not letting the devil hold me back or strap me down
Truth
Harvard, Yale and Princeton
That’s what I aspire to be
Colleges for a Black beau-ty
Brother opened my ears to bare to grasp
The classy affairs
To compete, to dominate!
Beat, delete, defeat,
To NEVER be treated as a minority
Strength Page 9

While we listen to Yg, Nicki Minaj, and Nipsy Hussel Would you take the time to understand my struggle
Yg say bitches ain’t shit but hoes and tricks….now while you blstin it in yo car and rapping along think about how mama feel
about that song
Yg put in little girls head that they’re nothing but a hoe and a trick
That’s dead not knowing she can break bread and make men fall to their knees
If she’s smart she won’t need
YG…..pause...now all these fellows walking around listening to YG’s sounds
thinking he oh so cool
Did you know he was a failure in school?
Ahhh..all the tattoos and all the fame will pass his way and never come again cause what goes up must come down at its
climax….now it’s drowned.
I’m done!
Do Ya Hear Me?

Tv’s are a distraction Phones are most humans’ attraction
Lust, they call harmless love But that’s not what God say
Yeah, he’s up above The bible is my pleasure
His Word; that’s my treasure I’m not perfect. Yeah, I’m only thirteen
But I know more things seen and unseen Demons trying to capture me Coming in the form of a man
Trying to take my virginity But no, not I. I will stride
Only if the Lord is my guide I bet you wasn’t ready for that line
But I will strive because the Lord will come back one day
He’s alive…….
Put This Woman First
As I sat on my couch
and thought about what I read
It came to me; Jesus is not dead
Yeah, they believe in Jesus too
But just not as we do
I know Jesus is my soul survivor
So I’m a rode rida; not giving a care
Bible in my left and scripture in my hand
Let’s spread the word
So the whole population
Won’t be dammed

Signifying Judgment in the church, Gossip in the pews
Worried about her necklace, and ooh look at her shoes
She ain’t married, livin’ with that man
My oh my, she’s damned
We gossip, God’s looking on us...in disgust
We are his children and we refuse to take the bus
Sitting on the pew talking about me
Listen, oh listen, listen to me please
Live your life, don’t live mine for me
I talk about no one yet there’s plenty to say
No, I’m not a star but paparazzi
watchin me, waiting on me
Waitin for me to do wrong, so they can feel strong
but...you’re wrong!
Gossip on your breath, hatred stain on your face
You no where but the devil’s bitter palace
Givin It Up
To the Most High
