Economy

Dependant on oil 1970’s Nigeria neglected their agricultural 2002 gas exports supplied 98% of their earnings 83% of the federal government revenue. Produces an average of 1.6 million barrels a day.

These would provide more then ten percent but the conditions of these farms and fisheries are too poor to produce enough to satisfy their need.
