The Sidekick has a single counter-lung with the scrubber canister located inside the counter-lung. This provides an extremely versatile unit.
The Sidekick is well-suited for cold-water diving. With the scrubber canister located inside the counter-lung, the scrubber stays warmer and the heat generated by the chemical reaction helps keep the diver warmer.

Sidekick vs.Sidewinder
1 (479) 739-7726www.KISSrebreathers.com
Both the Sidekick and Sidewinder are simple, reliable, mechanically
controlled rebreathers. Like all KISS rebreathers they use the well proven KISS MAV technology. This consists of
a constant oxygen flow through an orifice supplemented by a manual
add button. The diver monitors and controls the oxygen levels.
Similarities
PHIL SHORT
“The simplicity as the KISS name has come to be known for tough build quality and design were excellent and in water the trim and work of breathing were exceptional! I’m really looking forward to completing cross over training to the Sidewinder rebreather and getting it into some wonderful little places”
