KINDERGARTEN ENROLMENTS FOR 2018 - It is the time of the year where we start asking for Enrolment Forms
for students who live within our school boundaries who will be commencing Kindergarten in 2018.
Parents who have children who will be commencing in Kindergarten in 2018 are asked to obtain an Enrolment Form from
the office. Staffing for 2018 is based on our predicted enrolment figures so accurate information is required. It would be
appreciated if this information could be brought to the attention of any neighbours who have a child ready to start
Kindergarten next year and live within our enrolment boundaries. We would like completed Enrolment Forms returned to
the office by the end of this term. Your assistance in this area would be greatly appreciated.
When you return your Enrolment Form to the office you will need to provide the following documents:
Birth Certificate or Passport
Up to date Immunization (showing ‘all vaccines required by 5 years of age’ appearing on the bottom of the form)
Proof of residence X 2 eg utility bill
HAPPY HOLIDAYS - I would like to wish our Kings Langley Community a safe and relaxing winter
holiday. We look forward to students returning on Tuesday 18th July.

UNIFORM SHOP VOLUNTEER AND MANAGER NEWS
Wait Times and Volunteers
If you have visited the uniform shop in person recently, you may have found yourself lining up to wait for longer
than usual. Unfortunately we have found ourselves short of volunteers in the uniform shop despite repeated
requests for additional volunteers. Consequently, the wait times have increased. We ask for your patience and
understanding. Our uniform shop volunteers will endeavour to do their very best to serve everyone as quickly as
possible.
If you happen to have an hour to spare on a Tuesday morning and would like to assist in the uniform shop to
help us speed up service times, please do not hesitate to contact Rebecca Blackburn, our Uniform Shop Manager.
Uniform Shop Manager Position
Rebecca has done a wonderful job managing our volunteer run uniform shop for the last 18 months. At the end
of this year, she will no longer be available to run the shop and as such, we are starting the hunt for a new
Uniform Shop Manager. The uniform shop provides an invaluable service to the Kings Langley Public School
community and it cannot operate without the management of an enthusiastic volunteer! If you feel you may be
the right person for this role, or would like some more information about what the role entails, please do not
hesitate to contact Rebecca or myself. Full training, a transition period and support will be provided.
