Northern Peninsulas

• Large Scandinavian peninsula. Fjords, which are separated by narrow peninsulas. Jutland Peninsula that forms the largest part of Denmark and a small part of Germany.

Southern Peninsulas

• Iberian Peninsula, Spain and Portugal. Italian Peninsula, Italy. Balkan Peninsula, bordered by the Adriatic, Mediterranean, and Aegean seas.

Islands• Larger-Great Britain,

Ireland, Iceland, and Greenland.

• Smaller- Corsica, Sardinia, Sicily, and Crete.

Mountain Chains

• Alps, Apennines, and the Balkans.

Uplands

• Kjolen Mountains, Scottish highlands, and the Meseta, central uplands of Germany

• Effect- Industrialized Economy.

• Effect- Peat (Partially decayed Plant matter) can be burned for fuel.
