We have learned the various forms of each letter. However, there is one more thing that should be mentioned.

When a letter is in the medial or final position and it follows one of the letters that doesn’t connect to the letter after it ( و ز ر ذ د the medial or final form is the ,(اisolated (standalone form) without a lead connectorExamples:

FINAL ENDING WHEN A LETTER FOLLOWS A “SELFISH” LETTER

ذاا رخد جتا

Hamzah itself doesn’t change its form, but it can “ride” on a number of letters in their diff erent forms according to where it occurs in a word.

ئ ؤ ؤ إ أ أ إHamzah can also just “ride” on connectors or appear by

itself:
