Assistant Principals’ Message Our Stage 3 students – Years 5 and 6, are currently on their excursion, having enjoyed their first night and waking up to their second day of adventures. We are looking forward to hearing all about their time in Ballarat, Melbourne and Bendigo upon their return tomorrow afternoon. Next Monday, 26 November students in Years 2 to 6 will have the responsibility of selecting their school leaders for 2019. Speeches will be delivered by seven girls and seven boys, in the school hall at 12:15 pm. Immediately after the speeches, students will return to their class-rooms to make their choice of just three boys and three girls. Our school Leaders for 2019 will be announced at our Presentation Day, Wednesday 5 December. We wish all of these students the very best. Being able to swim is a crucial skill for young and old alike. We value the opportunity that our students have to take part in the Intensive Swimming Scheme. This program commences this Monday 26 November, for 2 weeks. Mrs Burns and Miss Bennett will be accompanying the students to the North Albury/Lavington Swim Centre. Our Transition Program for Kindergarten students 2019 is in full swing with only two sessions left. Students have a lunch order day this Thursday and our Teddy Bear’s Picnic is set for the following week. Our P & C is a small number of committed parents who raise important funds for the benefit of students at our school. This Friday evening we look forward to your company and support at our Community Food Fest and Market from 4:30pm. See you there! Vicki Crowhurst – Carly Burns – Karlia Stechiwskyj
