PAINT COLLECTION AT OLD DALE PARK SCHOOL PARKING LOT With help from Matthew 25 Ministries, the Village will be holding a latex paint collection event on Saturday, June 7th, in the parking lot next to the Waldorffenter from Cherry Street, stop and unload their cans of unwanted paint in the boxes provided by Matthew 25 Ministries, and then continue through the parking lot and exit onto Chestnut Street. Members of the Fire Department will be there to assist residents and make sure only acceptable items are deposited into the containers. No oilcombustible paint, or stain will be accepted. We can only take LATEX paint. Only onePaint must be in the original container with the original label. Containers without labels cannot be accepted. Finally cansdisposed of must be at least one-third full. Empty cans or almost empty cans will not be accepted. The paint collected will be used by Matthew 25 Ministries in their Rainbow Paint Reblending Program, which provides paint to the poor throughout United States and helps with rebuilding projects following natural disasters like earthquakes and hurricanes.
