I'm a Senior Citizen

I'm the life of the party...even when it lasts until 8 p.m.
I'm very good at opening child-proof caps with a hammer.
I'm usually interested in going home before I get to where I'm going.
I'm good on a trip for at least an hour without my aspirin, beano and antacid.
I'm the first one to find the bathroom wherever I go.
I'm awake many hours before my body allows me to get up.
I'm smiling all the time because I can't hear a word you are saying.
I'm very good at telling stories...over and over and over and over.
I'm aware that other people's grandchildren are not as bright as mine.
I'm so cared for: long-term care, eye care, private care, dental care....
I'm not grouchy, I just don't like traffic, waiting, crowds, children, politicians....
I'm positive I did housework correctly before my mate retired.
I'm sure everything I can't find is in a secure place.
I'm wrinkled, saggy and lumpy, and that's just my left leg.
I'm having trouble remembering simple words like....
I'm now spending more time with my pillows than with my mate.
I'm realizing that aging is not for sissies.
I'm anti-everything now: anti-fat, anti-smoke, anti-noise, anti-inflammation....
I'm walking more (to the bathroom) and enjoying it less.
I'm going to reveal what goes on behind closed doors...absolutely nothing.
I'm sure they are making adults much younger these days.
I'm in the initial state of my golden years: SS, CDs, IRAs, AARP....
I'm wondering...if you're only as old as you feel, how could I be alive at 135?
I'm supporting all movements now...by eating bran, prunes and raisins.
I'm a walking storeroom of facts...I've just lost the storeroom.
I'm a Senior Citizen and I
think I am having the time of
my life!

Every Thursday at 12pm, join Feldenkrais practitioner Jill Van Note at Moriah Senior Center for a series of exercises to reduce pain, improve posture, and help you feel like the best version of you!
Moving Forward with the Feldenkrais Method isn’t a conventional exercise program. It is very different. Instead of stretching or straining your muscles, the Moving Forward program features exercises that harness your brain to help your body. These exercises are safe, stress-free and involve no muscular exertion. Instead, they involve small easy movements and a pleasant process of paying attention to yourself.
What can this program do for me?
Moving Forward with the Feldenkrais Method can help you to reduce muscular aches and pains, improve your posture, improve your balance, and increase your flexibility and ease of movement. It can also help you to improve your breathing, reduce stress, improve your mood, and give you a sense of energy and optimism. The exercises in the Moving Forward program are also helpful after stroke or injury. In addition to helping you to heal and regain function, they can also help to rebuild your confidence in your body.

House of ThievesHouse of Thieves
In 1886 New York, a respectable architect shouldn't have any connection to the notorious gang of thieves and killers that rules the underbelly of the city. But when John Cross's son racks up an unfathomable gambling debt to Kent's Gents, Cross must pay it back himself. All he has to do is use his inside knowledge of high society mansions and museums to craft a robbery even the smartest detectives won't solve. The take better include some cash too ―the bigger the payout, the faster this will be over.
With a newfound talent for sniffing out vulnerable and lucrative targets, Cross becomes invaluable to the gang. But Cross's entire life has become a balancing act, and it will only take one mistake for it all to come crashing down ―and for his family to go down too.
