Communicating with Patients and FamiliesSurvey Results

“Being kept up to date is important for the family,

as they should have the right to know what’s

really going on.”

“Having the status of the patients condition and timeline is crucial in comforting and keeping the family and patient up to date...A hospital is a

service and patients essentially fund the entire

operation, thus communicating is vital.”

“Great idea, a comfort zone should be provided

for waiting families. Sometimes people will need

to doze, not sit up all the time.”
