Principal Tuba effective the 2017-2018 Season

National auditions for Principal Tuba will be held in Ottawa June 22 & 23, 2017. Candidates advancing from these auditions will be asked to return for a final round on July 4, 2017 at the

National Arts Centre’s expense

National auditions are open to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Canada only.

Season: This position is a Part-Contract

Minimum Guarantee beginning in 2018-2019 season will be 30 weeks

(Full orchestra season is 46 weeks)

Salary: Minimum scale, 2016-2017: $1,939 per week (salary for this position to be negotiated)

The members of the National Arts Centre Orchestra are Canadian members of

the American Federation of Musicians.

Les auditions nationales pour ce poste auront lieu à Ottawa les 22 et 23 juin 2017. Les candidats qui franchiront avec succès cette étape seront convoqués à une ronde finale d’évaluation

le 4 juillet 2017 aux frais du Centre national des Arts.

Seuls les citoyens canadiens et les résidents permanents du Canada sont admissibles aux auditions nationales.

Saison : Contrat à temps partiel

Garantie d’au moins 30 semaines à partir de la saison 2018-2019.

(La saison complète de l’Orchestre s’étend sur 46 semaines.)

Salaire : Échelle minimale pour 2016-2017 : 1 939 $ par semaine (salaire à négocier pour ce poste)
