New Primary National Curriculum

Timetable

The new Primary National Curriculum is statutory for children going into Year 1, Year 3, Year 4 and Year 5 from September 2014

Children going into Year 2 and Year 6 will be under the old curriculum for next year since they are close to the end of their respective Key Stages

It’s more demanding Levels will go, schools will be able to

develop their own ways of monitoring progress

SATs will stay, but there will be no Level 6 papers at KS2 and no calculators in maths
