LIVIA MALCANGIOis an Italian journalist, amother of two boys as well asa human rights activist, whoworks for the PermanentSecretariat of the WorldSummit of Nobel PeaceLaureates since 2001. Shehas represented KidsRightsFoundation in Italy forseven years. As aprofessional interpreter, Ms.Malcangio has translated for a number of world leadersduring G8 Summits, World Social Forum andhumanitarian missions. Previously, she has worked forthe UN Food and Agriculture Organization and forthe Italian Government, managing European fundsfor international training programmes and editingbooks on sustainable tourism and inter-religiousdialogue.
