Academic Advising at SUNY Orange First Year Support team

● Team of professional advisors, Career Services

and part time adjunct faculty

● First outreach to advisees begins week 3 of the

semester throughout week 7

● Second outreach begins week 8 through week 15

for continuing registration; students are instructed

to come prepared with a draft schedule

● Online: complete at home and before coming to the College

■ Rosters are reviewed by Advising staff (qualtrics)

■ Must have completed online NS, CSI, have placement results and

immunizations in order to register

■ Reminder of immunizations; picture ID

■ Plan 3 hours on campus to complete

registration.
