Localisation of the school________________________________________________

The school is at the edge of the ocean, inLos Angeles.

There is a big building who surroundsthe big playground. He has 2 floors:

-On the ground floor, there are thenursery, lockers for pupils and thebathroom.

-On the first and the second floor, thereare classrooms.

There is an administrative buildingwhere there are the headmaster’s office,the deputy headmaster’s office and theteacher’s lounge.

Timetable_______________________________________________

The school begins at 9am and finishes at3:30pm.

Each period lasts 55 minutes.

The lunch break is from 12 to 12:40.

The recess lasts 15min

The mains subjects are english, maths,sciences,

arts and foreign languages.

There isn’t school on Wednesday, Friday,

Saturday and Sunday.

There are holydays two weeks every twomonths.

On Monday, the first hour isEnglish.

Students continue with maths andsciences.

Then they have a lunch break.Students can bring a pack lunch orbuy food at the school canteen.

On afternoon, students have 2 hoursin class:

Arts and foreign languages ( french,spanish or italian)

On Tuesday, there are foreignlanguages first. Moreover there areone hour of english and one ofmaths on the morning. On theafternoon there are english andsciences.

Thursday morning there are artsand maths. Students finish at 11am.On the afternoon there are schoolclubs or P.E.

Once a month, on Friday, there is arelease at the cinema: studentschoose a movie to watch.

Sometimes, there are releases atcultural sites and once a year thereis a travel in a foreign country.

In this school, there are some schoolclubs on Thursday afternoon.

Students can choose to make thenewspaper of the school or the yearbook.

They can join the photographyclub, the computer club or themusic club.

They can also do P.E likesurf, basketball or american football.

Other

specificities______________________________________

In our school, there is a mascot who support the basketball team : it’s a tiger. Besides, he wear a blue t-shirt with the logo of the team.

There are cheerleaders whosupport the basketball team like the mascot. They must betall, slim and beautiful. Theyalso do competitions againstother squads.

Cheerleaders wear a light bluet-shirt with the logo of the team and a dark blue skirt.

At the end of the year, there is a prom night. All girls have the dress of their dreams. Moreover they all have a prom date to accompany them.

On June, there is the graduationday. Students wear a long dress, asquare hat and get their diploma ina huge stadium. The principal callsthem, they get on stage and theprincipal hands out the diploma toeach pupil. When all students arecalled, they throw their hats in theair.

To conclude:

Some students make the yearbook. Inside, there are pictures of all teachers and students of the year. We can find pictures of team activities and messages of friends.

We can buy one at the end of the year.
