Intended Audience: Employees who want to set up Zimbra Connector/Outlook 2010 on an office Win 7

machine in the win domain. You will sync your mail, contacts, and calendars. In addition, you will have

access to the Global Address List of all employees and students.

Step 1: With Outlook closed, click the Microsoft Orb, then Control Panel.

Step 2: In the Category view, click User Accounts.

Step 3: Click the Mail icon. In the Mail window, click Add…

Step 4: Enter the Profile Name, Zimbra and click OK.

Step 5: Select Manually configure server... and click Next.

Step 6: Select Other, select Zimbra Collaboration Server, and click Next>

Step 7: Enter your Email Address (clid@louisiana.edu) and Password. Then click OK.

Step 8: Click OK.

Step 9: Click Finish

Step 10: Select Always use this profile and click OK.

Step 11: Open Outlook 2010. It will take a few minutes for the initial sync with the Zimbra Server. Then

you will see a list of your mail folders.

What next?

• Work in Outlook. Send and receive emails. Create contacts. Add calendar events. If you use

the Zimbra Web Client (https://webmail.zimbra.louisiana.edu) at home or at a conference, you

will see the same mail, contacts, and calendars you see in Outlook.
