Acts 24-26 God called Paul to stand, be a servant, and be a witness no matter what people do. For us to change our world we too will need to do the same: stand, serve, and witness. (Acts 26:13-18) Stand on your feet before the people 1. We fall down before God and His message to us 2. We recognize that Jesus is talking to us and has a mission for us 3. God calls us to get up and stand on our feet
Be a servant to all 1. Humble ourselves before God (Acts. 24:14-16) 2. Paul came to give gifts to the poor & present offerings
(Acts. 24:17) 3. Be patient for God’s timing
Be a witness to what you have seen and will see in Jesus 1. Witness before Felix – the governor of the area 2. Witness before Festus 3. Witness before Agrippa 4. Witness before Caesar
God will rescue us from people 1. From our own people 2. From the Gentiles 3. From the rulers
Help people open their eyes 1. Turn people from darkness to light 2. Turn people from the power of Satan, to the power of God 3. Help people receive forgiveness from sin 4. Help people grow and join in the mission
