CURRICULUM

ABOUT ME

Even looking like something difficult do achieve , Architecture and Urban

Planning bring me closer to making difference in the life of a person. Plan the

city and its spaces fascinates me, every change in the streets or just a wall can

make a big difference in the reality of those who live that place.

The architect aware of the power that he has through his knowledge and

studies can change a neighborhood, a city or even a whole society.

The aim of this project was to create a

new center for this neighborhood, we

proposed a complete structure, such as

a new avenue, streets, an commercial

center and an educational equipment.

The school is for children’s education,

so it has sports fields, a playground and

a library. The roof received a

landscaping work with some routes and

the building has colored windows.

The school’s fronts that receive directly

the sun light have mobile protections to

provide thermal comfort.

The place’s topography was respected,

so the building was implanted by levels,

always giving universal accessibility

inside it with ramps.

The accesses for the school are from

the ground floor and the roof, this two

floors are connected by an stair and a

child’s slide.

The goal of this project is to create a park with a library. It was produced in groups, we

started with curves and circles and they become the central element, being present at the

whole project, inside and outside of the building.

We propose a sports complex, gardens including a sensory garden, a square and

parkings.

LIBRARY

Park

The project took into account

the concept of thermal

comfort, with protections for

the excessive light and

windows that provides cross

air circulation.

The two blocks that form the

library are arranged such that

they accommodate to the

topography.

The materials chosen for the

building are wood, concrete,

glass and the black panes to

generate solar energy , and

under the block on stilts there is

a thin layer of water.

The library has a green roof

following the same design of the

whole project..

LIBRARY

The whole furniture was developed exactly for this library, following the same

language.

The circulation between the floors is made by an elevator surrounded by a stair. The

elevator is panoramic and provides the view of all internal space.

This project is a building with social interest,

respecting some issues such as no more than

four floors and specially the maximum total area

of the construction. At the internal space of

each apartment the social area is separated from

the privative one. And the bedrooms always have

their windows turned to north or east ensuring

healthier spaces.

Jointly with the building with four floors

I designed a superimposed house,

ensuring privacy for each one of the

families. The house has a mix of

material as wood, glass and ceramic

bricks.

All the bedrooms have a good

orientation with windows turned to east

and even for the others orientations the

house has a protection for the

excessive sun light.

The goal of this project was to work with

topography. It was produced in groups

and we proposed a central flat area

surrounded by others higher, it makes

people walk trough the square to

discover the place.

Emphasizing the idea of discovering the

place by the walk we also proposed a

belvedere. All the places are accessible

for any person, including people with

special necessities.

SQUARE - MODEL

The materials used were thick

cardboard, wooden sticks and sponge.

The reference was from an existing

place so we had to adopt the

topography of the sidewalk without

alterations.

There are some of my drawings that

were produced during my preparation

for the entrance exam for university and

the course.
