Powerful Green SmoothieMakes about 1 serving
2 kale leaves, ribs removed, leaves torn (about 1 packed cup of kale)
1 kiwi, peeled½ cup frozen mango or pineapple chunks1-inch chunk of peeled lemon or lime1 tablespoon fl ax seeds½ cup coconut or regular water
Directions Combine all ingredients in a high-power blender and blend until smooth. If you use a regular blender, you may need to strain through a fi ne sieve or mesh bag to remove pulp.
