OurOur missionmission

One of the Public Health Department’s priorities is finding the right way for the

diffusion of useful information with the right instruments so that the citizens can put

them into practice

claudio.venturelli@auslromagna.it

A GENERAL VIEWA GENERAL VIEW

• Problem: Mosquitoes in private areas – health risks

• Projects: European Project “Life-Conops”

• A network against tiger mosquitoes:

Selection of volunteers and contracts

Formation and Field Activities

Final Report

CouldCould ourour idea of Utopia come idea of Utopia come truetrue??

• Living in a city without mosquitoes

• Having active students and refugees in control

activities

• Integration and inclusion of all citizens

• Having formed and informed peer educators

and citizens

“Tranforming problems into

opportunities”1. Tiger mosquitos were incrementing in Cesena since 2003

and some people are still complaining about their presence

2. The citizens complained about it but they could not alwayscontrol the mosquitoes in their gardens

3. Some citizens were complaining also about the presence of immigrants

How can we resolve these problems with our limitedresources?

claudio.venturelli@auslromagna.it

OurOur idea of idea of DoorDoor toto DoorDoorThis project is part of Life-Conops European Project for the surveillance of invasive mosquitoes in South Europe. The door to door activity fits perfectly among the goals of Life-Conops.
