Where We Are Today
History
Wanted to develop a work-site health program that mirrors the positive behaviors and habits we encourage through our mission, vision and values
Conducted research, focused discussion and idea generation -The In Motion Project was born
Unveiled to our staff at our all staff training at the beginning of the semester
Program launched on September 1, 2014
Not just about lifting weights or exercise
wanted to incorporate nutrition, activity of all types (live in motion), flexibility, and hydration
Toyed with several platforms to launch our program
Google Docs, Apps and eLearning (Canvas)
Project Overview
The world in motion, one Gator at a time
Tips, Tasks & Challenges
Tips Weekly tips have been
developed to supplement each challenge and task.
Focus on active daily living, nutrition, hydration, and mobility.
Tips are sent out on Mondays Created in collaboration with
our fitness staff to ensure accuracy
Mobility Tip: Dynamic
stretching should be done
before a workout, save
the static stretching for
after! This will maximize
your stretching routine for
greatest mobility results.

improve schoolwork –
working out before class
