Standing with Jesus in a Changing World
Over these last few months, we all have needed to adapt our ways of
being and living due to COVID19. It might feel like destruc8on and
terror are on every side. However, in these days where it feels like
chaos is being thrown at us from every direc8on, we are called to
remember that God’s love for us is constant and he is present even
in this everchanging world. “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday,
today, and forever.”
(Hebrews 13:8) Jesus is the same as when he walked the earth 2,000
years ago. And while things have dras8cally changed in our na8on
and world since the beginning of the year, we know that God is good
and He is with us.
What our pastoral staff is planning for now is more of the unknown
as we look to the fall. Our faith forma8on team has been preparing
to welcome back all of our families. While we are an8cipa8ng being
back in person we cannot be certain what Phase of the Catholic
Comeback we will in so we have to be ready for every situa8on that
presents itself.
One major change we have decided for the 202021 year is that all
high school forma8on for St. Bruno and St. Paul will be hosted at
St. Paul’s. The main reason for this decision is we have the space,
staff, and supplies available at our St. Paul campus that will allow us
to effec8vely and safely accommodate the forma8on classes. We are
be$er able to accommodate the whole program on the St. Paul
campus especially as we conform to CDC and Archdiocese guidelines.
This is just one way we are being called to adapt during these
uncertain 8mes, in order to keep our larger faith family safe. We
understand that this is different from past years and we greatly
appreciate your understanding. If you have any ques8ons or
concerns, please reach out to Jennifer Geisler.
And please con8nue to pray for our parishes, communi8es, and
world as we navigate these unprecedented 8mes. As always, I am
praying for all of you.

Come Holy Spirit
The Spirit comes to the aide of our weakness…the Spirit himself in-
tercedes with inexpressible groanings…for the holy ones according
to God’s will. Some8mes there are just no words. It might be the
minute details of a beau8ful bloom, a glorious sunset, or something
delighFul and so out of the blue that comes from a child’s mouth.
Or it might be bad news or a hard decision that needs to be made or
the pandemic. It’s always 8me to pray Come, Holy Spirit. The Holy
Spirit gets us!
“On a level beyond sensory
experience and beneath
consciousness, the Sprit is in
consulta8on with our Father.
The results of these consulta-
8ons are the people, events, and
seemingly empty spaces that fill
our days. Everything that hap-
pens to the bapzed has a holy
and loving purpose that is known to God alone. We need only
trust that the Spirit is always at work, accomplishing God’s will for
us.” (source LTP Lector Workbook)

In addiRon to our preschool program, we offer a great educaRon for
your child through 8th grade. We believe in tradiRonal values and use
modern learning styles in our classrooms. Our dedicated, cerRfied,
ChristCentered teachers give instrucRon 5 days a week.

PRAYER FOR CONFIRMATION CANDIDATES:
Lord, You send out Your Spirit to touch the hearts
of all people, so that they may believe in You
and in Jesus whom You sent. Look kindly on all
candidates for Confirma&on as they listen to Your
voice. Open their hearts to Your Spirit and bring to
fulfilment the good work that You have begun in
them. As we prepare each of them for
Confirma&on, make each of us an instrument of Your love. Teach us
to appreciate what is holy in others, and to be pa&ent with what we
do not understand. Deepen our faith in the Gospel and help us to
pass it on by our example. We pray that You will con&nue to guide us
and sustain us. Through Christ our Lord, Amen.

Registration
Registra8on for 20202021 Faith Forma8on for grades 18 is now
open. For children previously registered, a mailing has been sent. If
you are new to our parish or you did not receive this mailing, you
can find registra8on forms and schedules on the parish website, or
you can stop in the parish office Monday through Thursday, 8:30 am
to 3:00 pm to pick up a registra8on packet.
We will offer live classes star8ng in September. For families who
are not comfortable sending their children to class, we will offer an
“at home” op8on. Plans are being made to accommodate any future
restric8ons on gatherings. We just ask for everyone to be flexible on
this.
They say “it takes a village to raise a child”. We are currently in
need of a few people to teach in our program for grades 1 and 3. We
also need aides for those two grades. In the middle school we need
people willing to lead small group discussions with the students. Will
you consider sharing your faith with the children of our parish?

ADVERTISER OF THE WEEK
LIVE THE LITURGY
INSPIRATION FOR THE WEEK
Grace and sin are found together. As
much as our hearts long for union with
God, there is always that part of us that
resists. As much as I wholeheartedly
believe in God, there is a dimension of
disbelief with which I also wrestle. Even
though we may seek purity and integrity
in all of our thoughts, words, and deeds,
there is also the path toward weakness
and sin that we find ourselves travers-
ing. Just as weeds can easily overtake
the best of gardens, so too can
weakness and sin overtake and
overwhelm a person. The call is to
realize the power the weeds of sin have
to choke us off from God’s presence.
While God allows the wheat and the
weeds to exist together, we must keep
our eyes fixed on God’s mercy and
forgiveness and resist the death that
comes from giving way to sin and evil. In
God’s me, the eternal harvest will
come, and we will no longer have to
worry about the weeds. For now, we
must be vigilant and regularly seek the
assistance of the Master Gardener. ©LPi

The Milk Angels
Have you heard about the milk
give away? We have Milk Angels
right here at St. Bruno Parish.
They got the idea when the news showed
farmers dumping milk. There was a news
ar8cle about Sassy Cow Creamery owning a
processing facility where they pasteurize
their own milk.
Our Angels decided to purchase milk to
donate to our local families who may need
help feeding their kids. This seemed like a
win win for suppor8ng the farmer and local
families. It is their way of giving back to our
community.
If you or someone you know outside of St.
Bruno are interested in receiving a gallon of
milk, please email Milkangel2020@gmail.com
to reserve one. We are now on a schedule of
the 2
nd
and 4
th
Wednesdays of the month
from Noon to 5ish. There will be coolers
outside the Kitchen door, near the
playground, at St Bruno for selfservice
pickup during the above hours on that day.
Your ini8als will be marked on your order.
There will always be extras.
Our donor only asks in exchange that we
keep praying for all the people that are trying
to stretch their food dollars and those
who work in cri8cal jobs.
To reserve your milk, email the Milk Angels
Milkangel2020@gmail.com by Monday at
noon of the week of pick up. Reserva8ons are
not necessary, but they do help the Angels
know how much milk to order. We offer
thanks to our though+ul donors.
Next Free Milk PickUp Days will be July 22,
August 12, August 26.
