“Observe what is right, do what is just.” As stewards of the Faith, we are called to live
according to the teachings of the Church.
Living Stewardship
Pillar of Prayer We will all experience some hurt or
pain in our lives. Let us, like the Canaanite woman, run to Jesus and ask Him to have pity on us.

St. Frances Cabrini Religious Formation Help Us - Opportunities
We are in need of volunteers. YOU are very important to our program! It has been a long tradition at St. Frances Cabrini that our parish family has offered their time and talents. It is through caring, sharing and praying that our community has grown in love and support of one another. The success of our religious formation program depends on the dedicated individuals in our parish willing to share their time, talents and faith with the future church, our parish children. We encourage all our parishioners, as well as parents of children in our program to help out in some way. We are always in need of catechists, assistant catechists, and safety monitors who oversee the arrival and dismissal of our students.
CATECHISTS & ASSISTANT CATECHISTS “Go Make Disciples and teach them everything that I have commanded you.” Please consider volunteering as a catechist or assistant catechist for the primary levels 1 to 6 or junior high levels 7 and 8. The Mission of a Catechist and Assistant Catechist is such an important one. It is a mission that has been given to the whole Church: that every individual Christian shares in the work of Jesus Christ. The Role of a Catechist and Assistant Catechist is to bring our young people closer to Jesus and grow in their faith as Catholics. Through their service the catechist and assistant catechist nurtures and mentors the faith and spiritual growth of the children they teach so that they may form a firm commitment to follow Christ. Qualifications of a Catechist or Assistant Catechist: A catechist or assistant catechist must be at least 18 years old, a practicing catholic in good standing who attends weekly Mass regularly, has a love for children, the desire to grow in faith and share that journey with young people, the ability to relate well to others, a sense of humor and flexibility, and a willingness to be of service to the Church. Catechist and Assistant Catechist Formation: Training and support is available to all our catechists and assistant catechists. Please consider, pray and call me. Deacon Sonny 631-698-3149
Monthly Intentions and Development for Spiritual Adoption
August In the 6th month of spiritual adoption we pray for both parents’ emotional welfare and maturation toward making good decisions and modeling good behavior for their child. Our baby is five months old and halfway to birth. He is very active. Sleep habits develop and his mother can feel him move and stretch, particularly when she is resting. He is getting bigger, weighing one pound, is about 12 inches "tall" and is strong enough to kick against the outer uterine wall and dent it. Some day he may play soccer! Up to now, although he swam with ease in his watery world, he was too small for his mother to detect because the inside wall of the uterus has no feeling. Babies born at this time have survived, however.

“How much we need Mary to teach us what it means to satiate God’s Thirsting Love for us, which Jesus came to reveal to us. She did it so beautifully. Yes, Mary allowed God to take possession of her life by her purity, her humility and her faithful love. Let us seek to grow under the
guidance of our Heavenly Mother”.
