La piedra de Jakob Nielsen es una gran roca que se encuentra en medio de un bosque muy tupido a unos 400 metros de Boldrupgaard, con una inscripción que recuerda que Jakob plantó todos esos árboles entre 1896 y 1936.

Al pie puede leerse algo así como "Tu memoria vivirá por siempre en este bosque"...

Jakob Nielsen's stone is a big rock thal lies in middle of a very dense forest, 400 meters away form Boldrupgaard, with an inscription that reminds that Jakob planted all those trees between 1896 and 1936.

At the bottom you can also read: "Your memory will be always alive in this forest"...

Jakob Nielsen era hermano de Mads y abuelo de Gunnar. Vivía en Boldrupgaard y dedicó los últimos 40 años de su vida a plantar esos árboles. Era la primera vez que Marianne visitaba el lugar.

Jakob Nielsen was Mads' brother and Gunnar's grandfather. He lived in Boldrupgaard and devoted his last 40 years to plant those trees. It was the first time that Marianne visited that place.

Estamos en Hvilsom Mosegaard. Ya no quedan vestigios de la antigua granja en la que Mads nació hace 127 años (10/09/1880). Ahora hay un establecimiento muy moderno que también visitamos.

We are now in Hvilsom Mosegaard. There are no traces of the old farm where Mads was born 127 years ago (10/09/1880). Now there is a very modern farm that we also visited.

Mosegaard significa algo así como 'granja' (gaard) del 'estanque' (mose).

Mosegaard means 'the farm (gaard) with a pool (mose)'.
