WelcomeInterContinental® Los Angeles Century City is delighted tosubmit the following menus for your review. These menus areguidelines designed to assist you in selecting a menu for yourevent. Our international team of culinary professionals is happyto prepare custom menus should you so desire.
Operations Charge and TaxesAll food, beverage and room rental prices quoted are subject toa taxable 22% operations charge and 9% sales tax on food, beverage, audio visual and room rental. Prices are subject tochange. No food or beverage may be brought into the Hotelwithout express permission from the Hotel.
Menu SelectionTo assure the availability of menu items, your selection mustbe submitted to your Catering/Conference Services Managerthree weeks prior to your scheduled event.
Meal GuaranteesYour final attendance must be specified by 72 business hoursprior to your event. This number will be considered a guaranteeand is not subject to reduction. An additional increase in a meal guarantee, within twenty-four hours of the event, will be subjectto availability and may be subject to an additional per personcharge. If a guarantee is not given to the Hotel on the date it isdue, the original number on the contract automatically becomesthe guarantee.

Food, Beverage, Wine, Beer and SpiritsGuests may not remove any food or beverage from the premises nor consumefood and/or beverages supplied or prepared by another party without the hotel’swritten approval. Your Catering/Conference Services Manager will be happy toprovide you with a list of fine wines from our cellars to complement your mealselections.
Audio-Visual EquipmentPresentation Services is our on-site audio-visual provider, and has a dedicatedstaff of professionals available to assist you. They can provide an extensive rangeof audio and visual services, including equipment, technical assistance, sound andlighting systems, video production, and multi-image production andprogramming.
LinensInterContinental Los Angeles Century City provides floor-length linen underlayswith a choice of white and green overlay cloths. We will be more than happy toassist you in renting specialty or colored linens.
Function RoomsYour function rooms are assigned based on the number of guests that areexpected to attend the function. The Hotel will set no more than 3% over theguaranteed number of attendees. A significant change in the final number ofguests to attend the function may result in our moving of your function toalternate space better suited to the size of the function.
Entertainment and DécorThe ambiance of your function can be enhanced with flowers, music, andspecialty items. We have a wide range of recommended vendors for theseservices. Ice sculptures of almost any design can be provided for decoration at anadditional charge. Should you choose to make these arrangements yourself,kindly supply us with the list of your vendors so that we may assist them inservicing your needs. All deliveries must be coordinated through the Catering/ Conference Services Department and come through the loading dock. The Hotelwill not permit the affixing of anything on the walls, floors, windows or ceiling,nor the use of open flames and confetti throughout the property.
SecurityInterContinental Los Angeles Century City will not assume responsibility fordamage or loss of any merchandise or articles brought into the Hotel or for anyitem left unattended. With advance notice, your Catering/Conference ServicesManager can assist you in arranging for Hotel security officers. All events thatinclude a minimum of 25 minors must have an off-duty Hotel security officerand/or off-duty police officer. Due to fire regulations, the uses of pyrotechnic and smoke machines are not permitted on Hotel premises. The Hotel does not permit the use of tripods by photographers or videographers unless accompanied by a fire permit from the Los Angeles County Fire Marshall.
ParkingWe are pleased to offer discounted rates for daily parking for Guests attendingyour event. Valet Parking is $18.00 per car. For larger events, additional overflowparking off-site may be available. Standard overnight parking charges apply.
BANQUET GENERAL INFORMATIONAND REQUIREMENTS
DamageAs a patron, you are responsible for any damages done to the premises or anyother part of the Hotel during the period of time your guests, employees,independent contractors or other agents are under your control or the controlof any independent contractor hired by you. The Hotel requires a certificate ofinsurance from any subcontractor(s) or agent(s) you engage providing adequatefinancial responsibility in the event of loss or damage to the Hotel property. Assuch, the Hotel shall be named as additional insured on any certificate of insurance. All vendors are required to check-in with Hotel Security.
Signs and DisplaysPre-approved signage is permitted in registration areas and in private functionareas. All signs must be professionally printed. Signs are not permitted in thehotel lobby, on Guest room levels, in elevators, or around the building exterior.Any signs must be freestanding or placed on an easel. The Hotel will assist inplacing all signs and banners. Depending on the labor and equipment involved, acharge for this service will apply. Banner hanging is available through our Engineering department and must be scheduled in advance. Please consult yourCatering or Conference Services Manager for pricing.
Telecommunications and Information TechnologyYour Catering and Conference Services Manager will be happy to assist youwith your communications needs: House phones, speaker-phones, wired andwireless Internet lines. Pricing will be provided upon request.
Shipping and StorageTo ensure efficient handling and storage of materials, please allow your Cateringand Conference Services Manager to assist you. Up to five (5) boxes may besent two (2) business days prior to the event and held at no charge. For morethan five (5) boxes, the following charges will apply: $7.50 per box under 75pounds, $15.00 per box over 75 pounds, and $125 per pallet. Re-packing andshipping of materials is available through our Business Center and ConciergeDesk. Boxes arriving more than two (2) business days prior to meeting datesand stored more than two (2) business days past meeting dates are subject to afee of $5.00 per box and $20 per pallet, per day. The wedding ceremony is based upon one hour of continuous service (if applicable).
All wedding packages are based upon six hours of continuous food and beverage service. An additional charge of $500.00 per half hour (plus operations charge and tax) will be applied to events exceeding six hours in total.
InterContinental Century City at Beverly Hills requires a professional wedding planner for every event. Your professional planner will assist you with every extraordinary detail for the coordination of your wedding day.
Use of candles which are not provided by InterContinental Century City at Beverly Hills require a fire permit from the City of Los Angeles.
InterContinental Century City at Beverly Hills kindly asks that all vendors providing a service on property for your event submit a copy of Liability Insurance. InterContinental must be listed as additionally insured.
A food tasting is included in your wedding package. This tasting can be confirmed after your contract is signed and returned along with the initial deposit.
Food tastings are scheduled Tuesdays thru Fridays at 11:30am.
Food tastings include your selection of three salads and three desserts along with two each of your three entrée choices. (For example: two beef, two fish and two vegetarian OR two beef, two fish, and two chicken). Hors d’ oeuvres are not included in the tasting.
